His phlegmatic brother Ichiro works in a host bar entertaining rich old ladies and at least one dirty old man. Nerima Daikon Brothers combines the shrill hysteria of Excel Saga with the musical format of The Archies. Accompanied by Pandaikon, a panda they catch raiding their field, the trio keeps breaking into song. But the vocal cast lacks the chops needed to put over the banal musical numbers.
