I love the LOCKLY system locks. I started using these locks back in 2023 on my Airbnb properties and loved my experience so much that I installed them on my personal home as well. I currently have 10 locks now. The best part has been the customer support. Recently, I had an issue with this version the Secure Pro where the battery wasn’t lasting 2 weeks. It was strange, however after a few emails with the support team they decided to replace the lock. Installation on these locks are pretty easy.

I purchased this lock after having two non-functional Yale locks. These were difficult to install due threads stripping out. They were lightly built.This lock was a different story. It is sturdy and heavily made. The fingerprint recognition is excellent. Digital entry of a security code is very good, but limited to a combination of four buttons of six combinations digits. The digits on each button can be jumbled with each entry. I would really love to see the math regarding the number of combinations this yields. The install was very easy with no surprises, if you watch the install video and read the instructions. I purchased the Lockly Secure Pro to replace a failing Kwikset smart lock. The Kwikset was good when it worked but as it aged sometimes you’d hear the unlocking mechanism turning yet it would actually not unlock or nothing would happen at all even after a valid unlock code was entered into the lock.A review of the market showed many options but the Lockly stood out among all the choices.2 weeks later I can tell you I couldn’t be happier with the Lockly lock.Installation was fairly easy. Because the Lockly lock is tall the manufacturer does recommend drilling a hole above the main lockset opening to better secure the lock to the door. I have tried several variations of smart locks and dead bolts so I don't take this review lightly.Summary first-Doesn't fit residential doors that have deadbolts-uses square shaped latches that require carving out your door-no smart home systems support-horrible customer service-insanely complicated to install and setup-6 to 8 digit codes only. First, it needs to be noted that the first unit I received was faulty, in that it did not properly unlock the door. Be certain yours works before fully implementing it on your door.Customer support was awesome. When I had to contact them, they responded within a day, and asked me to send a video of what was going on so they could help me diagnose it. I did, and they offered to send me a new replacement unit, along with information on returning the old one. Once I got that, and installed, it works great.I can unlock my door from my car so I can do that first, grab my bags and then not have to fumble with my keys. I've linked it to Alexa, so that she unlocks it automatically when I get home. If that doesn't work for some reason, I can use the Bluetooth function to unlock it from the porch.I
