Best is "V," in which no TV and no beer make Homer go crazy in "The Shinning" ("You mean 'The Shining,'" Bart corrects. "Shh, you want to get sued?" Homer reprimands him). "VI" contains the ambitious, computer-animated "Homer3." "VII" features aliens Kang and Hados's finest quarter half-hour as they assume the identities of Bill Clinton and Bob Dole. "XII" boasts the star power of Pierce Brosnan as the voice of a mechanized house that falls in love with Marge and lures Homer to his apparent death with "unexplained bacon."
