(Michael Poulsen) The story between Volbeat and her German followers is full of deep, pure rock'n'roll love. Now it's time to say thank you to the Rebels & Angels, as the four musicians call their fans. For this reason, the band recorded this live album on the Rewind, Replay, Rebound World Tour in several German cities at the end of 2019. Since the group mixed up the international music circus, Germany has been on the tour schedule in bold. Initially, the musicians sit thousands of kilometres in the van, rolling from Copenhagen via Flensburg to Freiburg, from Ludwigsburg to Leipzig and Dsseldorf to Dresden. Small clubs quickly become large, and then the largest halls in the country. Michael Poulsen and his team move from insider tip to headliner. Germany became our second home at the time, says the guitarist, singer and songwriter. Our music was incredibly fast and well received by the audience, and suddenly we had a huge fan base. The Danes will make their debut in Germany on 4 June 2006 at the Rock Hard Festival in Gelsenkirchen, the first headlining show will be delivered on September 1, 2006 at the Headbanger's Ballroom in Hamburg. The band tours extensively and plays more shows in Germany than in the rest of Europe (apart from Scandinavia). We had a lot of fun and more than once a diabolical hangover, recalls Poulsen. The rest, as they say, is history: international tours, number one albums, shows with AC/DC and Metallica, promotion to the first division. If Rock'n'Roll were really dead, Volbeat would be damn successful zombies.After Rewind, Replay, Rebound once again shoots to the top of the charts in the summer of 2019, the quartet will even play twice in the arenas of Berlin, Stuttgart, Frankfurt, Munich and Leipzig, in Hamburg and Cologne
