This is a very cute suet feeder. I have literally ordered 3 different types of suet feeders and this is the only one that showed up (the other two had shipping issues). The birds go crazy for it and I haven't had a single squirrel (probably because I use red pepper suet). My only complaint is that the handle that holds the door shut can get easily bent out of shape. But you just have to be careful and bend it back.

Nice sturdy suet feeder with roof. Had one without cover before and suet would get covered in snow. It's a little wider than average suet cake. I just put a thin dowel though the sides to push cake to one side so birds could get better access to it. Easy to hang on hook.

So far so good, going on a few months of regular use.fits many sizes of suet bars, birds love it, haven't seen squirrels messing with it yet so that's good.it's a hit, easy decision for bird lovers and suet bar dispensing

I bought this feeder some time ago, and the backyard birds love it! We live in hot climate, so the sun dries out everything, but the roof material of this feeder still looks new. It is easy to open to put in the suet cake, easy to clean. Highly recommend getting one.

I bought this suet feeder to try and keep the black birds from eating all the native birds food. Black birds can still grab onto the bars and eat this food. But that isn't the biggest problem.When my suet feeder arrived one of the prongs that keeps the feeder closed was bent out of place. I thought no big deal and I bent it back in. It's a poor design. I couldn't figure out how the birds would eat an entire suet cake over night. With my last feeder they lasted easily a week. This morning bright and early (5:45am) just as the sun was lighting up the sky enough to see, I noticed the suet cake I put in yesterday was gone. I went out to see what was happening. I realized that the bottom prong, the one that was bent, doesn't keep the feeder closed, so when birds are on the feeder it pops open …

Unfortunately, it is way to easy to open. My critters (squirrel and starlings) have figured out how to open it and have made off with FULL suet cakes three times. I've now started zip tying it closed now. Otherwise, I really love this feeder. It looks sharp and protects cakes from sun and rain.

This is my first purchase of a suet feeder. It is made with good, solid materials with a recycled plastic green roof for protection from rain. Because rain can enter from the sides, I will remove it during bad weather. I made my suet with cayenne pepper so I should not have any issues with squirrels. It has not been disturbed at night either so far, from raccoons or other nocturnal critters. I live in Texas. Birds arrived after 3 days. Pictured is a Blue Jay, a bird I've never seen in my yard before, so I'm excited it is attracting more variety than I get from my seed bird feeder alone. Other bird is a Black Crested Titmouse and I've also seen Black-throated Sparrows. This was also very reasonably priced compared to others I've seen. Totally happy with this purchase!

This is our favorite suet feeder so far. It stands up well to squirrels and raccoons, especially as the opening is toward the bottom of the feeder. It’s made of durable material. The roof keeps the suet dry in the rain. Woodpeckers love it (see photo)
