I took into consideration that the reviews were more about attaching the generation 2 to the stand. It was about the 360 angle or the up or down tilt. Once I received the stand it was easy to install. All I had to do was turn the screws to the horizontal position and then remove them. Place the generation 2 on to the stand and use the new screws to secure it and turn back to the vertical position. Being a grandmother of ten I was impressed that I could do it. I love it. Go me... This is a good quality stand with smooth turn and tilt. It makes the show a much better product for our kitchen counter. We can watch it from all angles. It didn’t have any reviews so I got scared, but well worth the risk Looking to make you Alexa Show move 360 degrees and tilt with ease, then this is the perfect. I bought this to give us the flexibility to move the "Show" in different directions and angles while chatting with family or cooking , that we purchased a second on for my parents (both in their 70's) and they were able to easily install without help. Highly recommend. The stand is sturdy, pivots easily. Makes the Echo Show easier to see and keeps it safe from spills as I have my Alexa sitting on the kitchen counter. This is the stand you want for Echo Show 10.1!! (no better way to desc.) Aluminum, very sturdy when mounted and pivots/swings in every direction. Easy to install with 2 locking screws(plastic) screws are actually more user friendly than the existing screws....
