Delivered quick and in very good shape. If you put your time into this game, its so rewarding. You don't even need to be a die-hard Trek fan as my wife and daughter enjoy the game and definitely are not huge Trekkies. If you've ever played the Mage Knight board game, this is a faithful re-theme. Very close to that game, just in the Star Trek universe. You do need to put some time in to learn the rules, especially if you've never played the Mage Knight version. But very much worth it.

One of my favorite Star Trek board games! For those that like solo board games, co-op, and competitive goal oriented games, you'll love it.

Star Trek Frontiers is a rebranding of the hit game Mage Knight. Most of the game mechanics work like they do in Mage Knight with only a few small exceptions, so if you know how to play Mage Knight, you can jump right into this. Like Mage Knight, this game is complex and does have a kind of steep learning curve, but once you have the concept down, it is a blast to play. The game encompasses exploration, starship combat and even away missions to planets. The game can be played solo or with up to 5 players.The game is complex but fun once you have learned to play it. (YouTube videos on how to play are highly recommended) A great addition to any board game collection

Well, one little ship arrived broken. Then we tried to play this complex game. After 4 hours of trying to finish the simple learning version, it was apparent that the only way to advance and achieve anything is by warring and conquering. Not a Star Trek idea or way of being at all. I was greatly disappointed by the corruption of what Star Trek stands for which used to be a society built on tolerance and acceptance. Not at all worth the $50+ dollars spent.
