Artista biografía Lorin Sklamberg has sung and recorded with the Klezmatics appears on the recordings Festival of Lights (Six Degrees), Moxy Früvous’ Wood (Warner Canada), Don Byron Plays the Music of Mickey Katz (Nonesuch), Mir trogn a gezang and Perl fun yidishn lid (Workmen’s Circle), Zumerteg: The Songs of Beyle Schaechter-Gottesman, Remember the Children (U.S. Holocaust Memorial Museum) and Partisans of Vilna (Flying Fish), and composed and performed the score for Gregg Bordowitz’s film The Suicide, among numerous other projects. He is the sound archivist at the YIVO Institute. Singer and language instructor Paula Teitelbaum was born in Poland and grew up in a Yiddish-speaking home. She has taught Spanish, Yiddish and English to speakers of other languages and has been on the staff of KlezKamp for many years. Her singing has been featured on the recordings Vaserl (Yugntruf/Youth for Yiddish) and Zumerteg: The Songs of Beyle Schaechter-Gottesman (League for Yiddish) and in the documentary film Image Before My Eyes. She lives in New York with her husband and two daughters with whom she speaks and sings in Yiddish.
